Description:
MEET Team Member Hayden Cassidy, a junior at Lake Highlands High School! There, she is involved in National Honor Society, Girls Service League, Capernaum, Young Life Team, Student Council, and the LHHS Golf team.
Hayden joined Cure Quest because she wants to make a difference in the lives of those affected by blood cancer. She knows many families and friends who have been impacted by this disease, and she is passionate about raising awareness for this cause. Through this opportunity, she hopes to create meaningful change and positively impact her community!
My Why:
It’s no secret that cancer affects all of us. Within a period of five months, both of my grandfathers died of cancer, one from leukemia. My aunt is currently battling stage four gastric cancer, and my godfather passed away from colon cancer. My connection is through them, and I hope to make an impact to carry out their legacy.
