MEET Team Member Kate McAtee, a junior at The Hockaday School! There, she is a member of H-Club, serving as an admissions ambassador and is a junior co-chair for Habitat for Humanity, where she helps with builds and fundraising. She is also involved in Best Buddies, creating friendships within the special needs community, and Global Girls Connect, where she tutors girls from Uganda. In addition, she is a co-founder of the Hockaday Civil and Law Society and serves on Earl Young’s Team, a teen board that works with DKMS to add donors to the transplant registry.

Kate’s mission connection comes from a close family member being diagnosed with leukemia. She knows her story reflects what so many families are facing and wants to support this community of patients and loved ones, while raising awareness about how we can all make a difference. Through fundraising and outreach, she hopes to help ensure that everyone affected by blood cancers receives the support and resources they deserve.
